‘Bajre Da Sitta’ Punjabi Movie Based On The Times Of The 80s Will be Release On 15 July 2022

Bajre Da Sitta is an upcoming Punjabi movie and is the story of two girls who sings very well. It is the story plotted in the old Punjab way back when there is no tv, smartphone, or other facilities available.

Bajre Da Sitta is a song that is sung by the Punjabi folk singers Surinder Kaur and Prakash Kaur. After that, it is re-sung by Neha Basin, and the latest version which is sung by Rashmeet Kaur, Deep Kalsi, and Rapp by Ikka is viral on the internet recently.

Now a Punjabi movie with the same title ‘Bajre Da Sitta’ is on the way and set to release on 15 July 2022. It is written and directed by Jass Grewal under the banner of Shri Narotam Ji Studios, Tips Films Ltd, and Ammy Virk Production.

What is the meaning of ‘Bajre Da Sitta’?

In English ‘Bajra’ means Pearl Millet and ‘Sitta’ means grain crop. In old times Pearl Millet is burnt in the fire and then after rubbing its grains were separated to eat.

Trailer Review

The trailer starts with a puzzle that is put on by the actress Nirmal Rishi. It is the story of Roop and Basant two girls who sing in the time of 80s. Ammy Virk, Tania, and Noor Chahal are in the lead roles.

Roop and Basant got a chance to sing for a record and then an interviewer come to interview the both. But after her songs became popular than the whole village starts taunting the family members.

Roop which is the main character got married and her new husband restrained her from singing. He threatens her that if she sings again he will send her to her parent’s house.

The movie provides you a glimpse of 70 to 80s music and all of its songs are going to be hit.

The title song of the movie with the name ‘ Bajre Da Sitta ‘ is also released on YouTube and is sung by Jyotica Tangri and Noor Chahal.
